The Institute for Strategic and Policy Studies (ISPS), South Sudan, and the Mashariki Research and Policy Centre (MRPC), a leading Nairobi-based research organization, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance collaboration in research, policy development, and capacity building.

Under the MoU, both institutions have committed to strengthening cooperation in several key areas, including:

• Security and Peacebuilding
• Climate Change and Environment
• Geopolitics and World Order
• Trade and Development
• Joint Grant Bidding on Thematic Areas
• Joint Research Seminars and Academic Exchanges

The MoU was signed on behalf of ISPS by Prof. Melha Rout Biel, Executive Director of ISPS, and on behalf of MRPC by Brig. (Rtd.) Dr. Robert G. Kabage, Chief Executive Officer of MRPC.

This partnership marks a significant step toward fostering regional collaboration in evidence-based policy research and promoting sustainable development across Africa.
