Participants included leading professors, scholars, and policymakers who deliberated on ways to promote and protect human rights in Africa, China, and globally.
The seminar marked the first-ever joint initiative between Africa and China dedicated to advancing dialogue and cooperation on human rights.
Professor Melha Rout Biel, Executive Director of ISPS South Sudan, represented the Republic of South Sudan at the event. He was honored to deliver a keynote address, contributing key insights on the relationship between development and the realization of human rights.
