ISPS leader visit Chinese Embassy

The Executive Director of the Institute for Strategic and Policy Studies (ISPS), South Sudan, 

 Prof. Melha Rout Biel paid a courtesy visit to the Chinese Embassy in Juba where he was warmly received by H.E. Ambassador MA Wenjun, the Deputy Head of Mission in present of the Chief of Political Affairs and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy.

The purpose of ISPS visit was to exchange views on number of issues in regards to bilateral relations between China and South Sudan, particularly the recently launched China-South Sudan Economic, Investment and Trade Forum which was officiated by President Kiir and Chinese Provincial leaders from Zhejiang and Huanan Provinces. According to the Statement issued during the launching of the Forum, some of possible areas for Chinese investors, but not limited to,  are agriculture, mining, trade, transport and tourism as well as education and training, cultural exchanges, academic scholarships and deeper people-to people exchanges.

Both sides exchange proposals on how to strengthen cooperation in 2025.

The Embassy appreciates the work of the organization and promised to support ISPS in a number of projects presented in the coming years.
